Our Services

"HANDS ON" BIKE CHECK & FIX 2 HOUR WORKSHOP

   

Have a FREE 2 hour "HANDS ON" bike maintenance class with our bike mechanics to learn how to give your bike a safety M check with help and guidance to do minor repairs, and adjustments, e.g. brake cable and pads, puncture repairs, tube replacements, adjusting gears, etc. Under 18's also welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

 

Parts for this event are funded by Cycling UK. To contribute towards the Hub's annual running costs we would greatly appreciate a nominal donation.

e-Bike "TASTER" Experience

Enjoy the opportunity to have a relaxed accompanied ride on an e-bike. Discover and discuss the pros and cons of the many types of e-bikes available.  Consider advice to convert your existing bike to an e-bike.  We have two bikes available, a ladies low step-through shopper and a unisex hybrid so why not bring a friend along too!

Carlisle Community Cycle Hub does not sell bikes, parts, accessories or services.  This event is for adults only and free of charge however, a donation towards the Hub's operating costs would be greatly appreciated.

Led Off Road Social Rides

From Sunday 23rd May we restart social, family fun, off-road rides designed to get you and your family and friends cycling again.   Bring your own bike or borrow one free of charge from our fleet of bikes.   We choose off road routes such as the Caldew path to Dalston and back (9 miles) or we head north through Rickerby park.

FREE Bike Check and Fix Service

Throughout the summer CCCH mechanics will be working in our Pop Up workshops around Carlisle and Cumbria doing ... FREE safety 'M' checks to ensure your cycle is safe to ride.  Plus FREE Minor repairs, and adjustments, e.g. brake cable and pads, puncture repairs, tube replacements, adjusting gears, etc.  If you bring more than one bike we will do what we can in your allocated 30 minute time slot.
